The birth of Livvy’s Lights Natural Wax Candles came from my desire to have another child. As I was working from home at the time with my business Relax Me, doing Massage therapy and Reiki, I realized I would need to adjust my hours around a new edition. I didn’t want to stop working completely and decided to look for something else I could do from home.
Around this time I was introduced to Soy & Palm Wax Candles. Who doesn’t love candles? Needless to say I fell in love with Soy Candles and decided I’d like to have a go at making them for myself. I really enjoyed making them and found it very relaxing and therapeutic.
Once I started to make them I realized there was a lot more to it than I thought and it became a real challenge, which I enjoyed, and many candles and hours of test burning later I discovered I’d finally got the formula right and along the way I had developed my ‘Divine’ range of natural soy wax candles that I was really proud of and that I felt was of a high standard. I then decided it was time to launch Livvy’s Lights Natural Soy Wax candles.
Why the name Livvy’s Lights?
After talking my husband into adding to our family and having two energetic boys we were blessed with a daughter. We named her Olivia - Livvy for short.
As I would not have looked for something else to do if not for wanting another child, Olivia, I doubt I would have looked to make soy candles, and as she is the LIGHT of our lives the name became obvious - Livvy’s Lights!
